37/38 mm CS Long Range Projectile

The 37/38 mm CS long-range projectile is a less-lethal munition designed for crowd control and public order management. It is primarily intended for outdoor use, where it can effectively disperse crowds, deny access to specific areas, and help prevent violent situations.

The projectile contains a single CS irritant payload (ortho-chlorobenzylidene malononitrile) which disperses upon deployment, producing effects such as eye irritation, tearing, respiratory discomfort, and temporary disorientation, encouraging individuals to disperse without the use of lethal force.

The munition features a “dual-rim” cartridge design, allowing it to be chambered in both 37 mm and 38 mm launchers.
