NIDEC CSC10 anti-riot helmet

The NIDEC CSC10 riot helmet is made of special HRP polyethylene, the same material used in racing helmets, combined with a hybrid blend that gives it exceptional impact and corrosive resistance. It also provides ballistic protection against 12/70 caliber shotgun pellets from a distance of just 5 meters.

The NIDEC helmet has European CE certification, in accordance with Directive 93/68/EEC, and is authorized for sale in the member states of the European Union.

Design and durability

The CSC10 helmet is matte black to prevent glare and sparks. It has a special surface treatment that provides increased resistance to impacts, scratches and corrosive substances.

There are two openings on both sides of the helmet at ear level that allow officers to communicate. These openings contain one-way membrane filters that prevent liquids from entering the helmet, but do not restrict hearing.

Protective face shield

The face shield of the CSC10 helmet is made of highly resistant HP polycarbonate, the same material used for protective shields for emergency services.

-4 mm thickness – guarantees resistance to impacts directed at the police officer’s face.

-Minimal image distortion – does not cause dizziness or headaches, which often occur with plastic shields.

-Anti-fog treatment – ​​ensures clear vision even during prolonged use.
-Special upper rubber sealing strip – prevents liquids from penetrating the helmet or the user’s eyes.

-The shield is extended – allows for comfortable wearing of a gas mask.
-Possibility of positioning in 4 levels – the mechanical system allows the shield to be adjusted to three different positions + vertical fixation.
-Possibility of replacing with a dark VIS10 shield (not included in the package) – provides better protection against sunlight.

Neck protection and internal construction

On the back of the CSC10 helmet there is a neck protector, made of three fireproof parts, which are connected together with a military-grade Velcro.

– Protects against impacts in critical areas.

– Prevents the penetration of liquids.

– Material: 1 cm thick high-density EVA foam, which absorbs impacts and is also covered with a non-flammable fabric.

– Can be folded inside the helmet, making it easier to handle and transport.

Level B1 fire protection according to GB/T 17591-2006 (FLAME RETARDANT FABRICS).

Adjustable system and internal elements

-Universal size – the helmet is fully adjustable using the internal suspension system.
-Adjustable circumference – the main fastening ring can be adjusted using the Velcro.
-Nylon straps (1000D) – provide high strength and keep the internal straps out of contact with the head, minimizing the shock effect upon impact.
-Hypoallergenic and antibacterial internal padding – easy to clean and maintain.

-XMAX closure system – same as used in F1 helmets.
