Avalanche training pad “Romed”

The “Romed” training pad offers the widest range of avalanche rescue training options. It supports full intervention exercises – from searching for buried victims with a search device, to probing, excavation drills, and CPR training.

The modular design allows for burying only a simulated “body.” The CPR torso bag can be attached to the pad like a backpack, enabling comprehensive training with realistic equipment. The pad is lightweight, portable, and made from water-repellent material.

The bag accommodates integration of a buried victim search device and protects it from probe damage (avalanche search device not included). A Recco RescueReflector can also be attached to the fastening strap for Recco search exercises (Recco reflector not included).

A 20 × 10 cm aluminum plate in the leg area allows simulation of different materials. Ski poles or boots can be attached to the pad, ensuring a realistic excavation scenario.
