Fast rope termination

Fast Rope Termination ensures safe and effective finishing of fast ropes used in helicopter operations, rescue missions, and tactical deployments. Marlow offers three types of terminations, suited for different conditions and systems:

DYNALITE TERMINATION (DLT)

• Significant weight savings compared to metal terminations.

• Eliminates the risk of injury to personnel on the ground when ropes are released post deployment.

• No metal parts, eliminating the need for X-ray inspection before reuse.

• Factory-spliced in-house.

• Used by several military and security forces worldwide.

MULTIFIT TERMINATION (MFT)

• Strong and durable termination, designed to fit a wide range of helicopter cargo hooks and hoist systems.

• Features a 45 mm machined eye for fast attachment.

• Standard conical fittings available upon request.

• MFT available for 40 mm only.

SPLICED EYE (SE)

• Polyester-protected factory-spliced eye.

• Ideal for training descents from towers, scaffolding, or support beams.

• Easily hooked over beams or scaffolding during training.

Advantages of Marlow Fast Rope:

• Unique construction allows comfortable control throughout the descent.

• Easier to slow down and stop.

• Flexible material reduces hand fatigue, requiring less force than other ropes.

• Oil and other liquid spills do not affect descent speed, as Marlow Fast Ropes absorb liquids.
