FAST ROPE

Fast rope

Fast rope is specially designed for rapid personnel deployment and descent from helicopters. It offers easy handling, secure grip, and minimal elongation (working elasticity) thanks to a unique blend of synthetic fibers. The rope is available in various lengths depending on operational requirements.

Equipped with high-tech hardware, the rope utilizes Columbian Specialty’s Pli-Moor construction, ensuring strength, stability, and reliable grip during use.

The eight-strand Pli-Moor firm-lay synthetic line is specifically designed to allow personnel to descend quickly from helicopters without the need for smaller lowering lines or belay systems. It can also be used for evacuation from offshore platforms, structures, and other elevated locations.
