ILLUMINATION ROCKET

This compact lighting rocket has reduced weight and size and is a light source that produces enough light to illuminate areas of the terrain.

This allows random tracking to detect enemy movement in open space, an ambush to reveal targets, or as a target illuminator for weapon systems. The rocket ejects a white flare 300 m (1,000 ft) that burns for 30 seconds at 90,000 candelas.
