The evolution of a proven classic – Lecco 2.0 is a new rescue stretcher designed for mountain rescue operations. It retains the versatility of its previous version while introducing new features that make it even more adaptable and efficient.

Selected by CNSAS – the National Alpine and Speleological Rescue Corps (Corpo Nazionale Soccorso Alpino e Speleologico).

Main Features:

• new, comfortable, reinforced and hoistable carrying bag allowing ultra-fast packing,

• ready for use in less than one minute, assembled by a single operator,

• pre-assembled frame and cover – with no loose components that could be lost,

• new ergonomic handles with variable (oval–round) cross-sections for better shoulder load distribution and more comfortable transport,

• lateral zipper with four sliders allowing partial opening for inspection and treatment of the injured person,

• additional zipper at the foot section,

• immobilization straps in different colors for quick and intuitive use,

• transparent visor allowing continuous visual contact with the injured person,

• wide range of accessories ensuring maximum reliability under various operating conditions.

The fabric cover is equipped with a system of webbing straps in various colors for securing the injured person at all key points.
Four external compression straps ensure safe fixation of the patient.
A double zipper allows the cover to be completely opened, including the lower limbs area.
An additional zipper is provided at the foot section.
The generous cover dimensions and the length of the compression straps allow the insertion of a vacuum mattress (essential for immobilizing the injured person).

Shoulder Supports:

The front and rear shoulder supports are fitted with soft padding.
The front supports can be inserted straight for carrying over standard terrain or reversed for extremely steep slopes or overhangs to prevent the rescuer from slipping out of the straps.
The length of the rear supports ensures good ground visibility during transport.

Load Capacity and Safety:

The stretcher, including shoulder supports, is designed for a Safe Working Load (SWL) evenly distributed over the entire surface of 180 kg (safety factor 1:4).
This load must never be applied to a single point.
Kong has simulated real operating conditions in its laboratory and performed destructive tests through static tension.
The suspension kit for helicopter or cableway hoisting is rated for SWL 500 kg (safety factor 1:4).

The wide lowering strap, when correctly attached according to the instructions, is rated for SWL 400 kg (safety factor 1:4).
