Linear Shaped Charge

A Linear Shaped Charge (LSC) consists of a continuous explosive core enclosed within a seamless metal casing. The precisely engineered combination of the explosive material and the surrounding metal liner creates a focused linear cutting effect upon detonation.

When initiated, the explosive energy is directed into a high-velocity jet along the entire length of the charge, producing a clean, continuous linear cut. The effectiveness and precision of the cut are achieved through careful control of core geometry, liner configuration, wall thickness, rear confinement, and overall material uniformity.
