The SLS is a comprehensive all-in-one system that allows the patient to be prepared for surgery in a single, quick setup, saving time and reducing costs. The SLS is primarily used for patient positioning in the lateral position and provides the surgeon with clear access to the operative area.

Pressure Relief
The combination of vacuum and padded straps that make up the SLS helps reduce positioning-related injuries to the patient’s body. These injuries typically occur when certain areas of the patient’s body are exposed to prolonged pressure. The SLS is particularly effective in preventing pressure points in the knees, feet, and pelvic region.
