MINI Remote Controlled Mine Clearance System

The MV-4 is a tracked, remotely operated demining machine designed to clear all types of anti-personnel (AP) mines and withstand anti-tank (AT) mines.

Anti-personnel mines are neutralized by the impact force of the flail attachment, which consists of a hardened steel shaft with hammers attached to chains. During operation, the shaft rotates and the hammers strike the ground, shattering or activating embedded mines. The power of the hammers allows the system to cut through vegetation and dig into the soil up to 32 cm deep. Chains and hammers can be quickly replaced if damaged.

The MV-4 is remotely controlled from an armored vehicle or a safe distance, and critical components, including the engine, are protected by HARDOX steel plates. Its small size and high maneuverability allow operation in yards, orchards, forest paths, riverbanks, and other terrains inaccessible to larger machines.

Design and Mobility
