OPTIC DETECTOR (LONG RANGE)

OPTIC DETECTOR (LONG RANGE)

The long-range optic detector is a specialized system designed for the early detection of passive optical and electro-optical devices, including binoculars, night vision systems, weapon-mounted optics, and other observation equipment.

The LAS1000 system is capable of detecting a sniper’s position before a shot is fired, significantly enhancing force protection and personnel safety. Unlike acoustic detection systems, which are prone to damage or interference, this device operates by identifying optical and electronic components, enabling faster and more reliable threat detection.

The system is ideal for border security, VIP protection, military bases, and high-risk security operations. Snipers can be detected even when concealed in vegetation, behind windows, inside buildings, or behind vehicle windshields.

The detector can be used hand-held or mounted on a tripod for continuous area surveillance. Once a target is detected, it is immediately highlighted in the field of view, and critical information such as distance, direction, and angle of inclination is displayed, allowing for rapid on-site response.
