OPTICAL DETECTOR (LONG RANGE)

Optical detector (long range)

The long-range optical detector is an advanced surveillance and counter-sniper system designed to detect passive optical and electro-optical devices at extended distances. It is capable of identifying equipment such as binoculars, night vision devices, weapon sights, optical markers, and leveling tools equipped with reflective elements.

The LAS 1000 operates on optical detection principles, enabling it to locate potential threats—such as snipers or forward observers—before they take action. Unlike traditional acoustic detection systems that react only after a shot is fired, this system provides proactive threat identification, significantly increasing operational safety.

The device is highly effective for border protection, perimeter security, and VIP protection operations, where early detection of hostile observation or targeting equipment is critical.

The LAS 1000 can detect optical lenses and reflective surfaces within its field of view, even if they are partially concealed behind obstacles such as vegetation, glass, or vehicle windshields. It can be used as a handheld device or mounted on a tripod for enhanced stability and long-term observation.

When a reflective optical element is detected, its position is clearly marked within the viewing field. For improved situational awareness, the system can also generate an automatic audio alert upon threat detection.

Designed for reliability and precision, the LAS 1000 ensures effective detection of optical threats across a wide range of tactical scenarios.
