The Pocket Explosive Detector RoadRunner is a highly sensitive, handheld system designed to detect and identify a wide range of explosives, including pure and composite explosives, under various humidity and pressure conditions. It can detect explosives in both vapor and trace particle modes.

Based on industry-standard IMS (Ion Mobility Spectrometry) technology, this compact system delivers desktop-level sensitivity in a portable, battery-powered device. The RoadRunner features hot-swappable batteries providing up to 4 hours of operation and uses a non-radioactive high-energy photoionization source, eliminating the need for radioactive safety compliance.

Equipped with revolutionary CHIRP-IMS signal processing and continuous automatic calibration, it ensures maximum sensitivity and selectivity. The comfortable pistol-grip design allows for intuitive handheld operation. Standard swab and vapor sampling modes provide flexibility and convenience for field, security, and tactical operations.
