The Portable Explosive Detector is a rugged, field-ready system designed for the rapid detection of military, commercial, and homemade explosives such as TNT, RDX, C4, PETN, Semtex, AN, ANFO, UN, TATP, and more. Using advanced fluorimetric technology, it identifies trace amounts of explosives on people, packages, vehicles, and surfaces.

Quick and easy to operate, the system is ready in less than 90 seconds with no heating or calibration required. It comes supplied with 300 detection samples, aerosol ink for automatic spraying, a verification pen, a sun visor for outdoor use, and a rechargeable lithium battery with charger. Durable and proven in combat, the system is housed in a robust Pelican case and requires no scheduled maintenance.

Intuitive operation allows operators to be trained in less than a day. Detection of military-grade and conventional explosives is completed in under 15 seconds, making it ideal for security, checkpoint, and field operations. Retained detection samples can be used as evidence. Multimedia training tools are also available.
