Product description:

LANX Type I fabric chemical protective underwear is made of a durable composite fabric containing polymer-encapsulated carbon for adsorption of chemical warfare agents. Originally designed in 1991 for United States Special Forces, LANX I is the only fabric approved for Chemical Protective Underwear (CPU) by the US Army under the Joint Services Lightweight Integrated Suit Technology (JSLIST) test program. Our current product range also includes outerwear, hoods, gloves and boot liners.

The LANX I fabric features excellent air permeability that promotes evaporative cooling, reducing thermal stress. The LANX I fabric also has unique stretch properties that provide exceptional mobility and comfort. Polymer-encapsulated carbon prevents sweat poisoning and maximizes adsorbent performance. Tests of LANX fabric performed in conjunction with DuPont’s “Thermo-Man” flame retardant outerwear reflected an impressive degree of increased lightning protection. This advantage makes the underwear attractive to a number of agencies outside the military, such as law enforcement, fire departments, emergency responders, government contractors, hazardous material response agencies, and special security details.
