STICK LIGHTS

Stick Lights

The Lightstick is one of the most widely used and reliable sources of emergency and signaling light. It is a plastic stick approximately 15 cm long and 1.5 cm in diameter, filled with a chemical liquid. Inside the stick is a small glass capsule containing a second chemical compound.

When the stick is bent, the inner glass capsule breaks, the liquids mix, and a chemical reaction (chemiluminescence) occurs, producing visible light without generating heat. The average illumination time is up to 12 hours, with a minimum duration of approximately 6 hours.

Lightsticks provide safe, dependable, and consistent illumination in all environments, including wind, rain, and underwater conditions. Once the light output fades, the stick cannot be reactivated or refilled, as it is a single‑use product.

The ergonomic design fits comfortably in the hand and includes an integrated hook and a lanyard hole for easy attachment or carrying. Its conical shape prevents accidental activation when dropped, carried in a backpack, or stored in a pocket—one of the lightstick’s most important advantages.

Lightsticks are ideal for emergency lighting at home, on the road, in vehicles, or anywhere immediate illumination is required. They are commonly used by military personnel, firefighters, divers, mountaineers, anglers, and in various tactical and rescue applications. In addition to lighting, they are widely used for personnel marking, route marking during night operations, and long‑distance signaling, with visibility of up to 500 meters.
