SRK System
The SRK (Snow Rescue Kit) system allows the creation of emergency stretcher on skis for situations where an organized rescue service cannot be used.
Using a pair of skis, typically those of the injured person, the three components of the steel support frame are connected. With the help of two pairs of poles secured by special elastic straps, the frame takes its defined shape. The textile stretcher is attached to the frame using special straps. A front bulkhead is inserted to prevent snow from accumulating under the stretcher and to assist in guiding it.
The injured person is secured in position using three straps with automatic buckles.
The kit weighs 5.3 kg and is stored in a backpack for easy transport and storage. In case of need, it can be easily disassembled and distributed among multiple people.
