Under door camera

The Under-Door Tactical Camera is a compact surveillance device designed to provide covert visual reconnaissance inside rooms or enclosed spaces without opening the door. It is an essential tool for tactical units, law enforcement, and security forces during hostage situations, room clearing operations, and other high-risk missions.

The system features a multi-camera configuration that allows the operator to observe different directions simultaneously. The cameras provide left, right, forward, and upward viewing angles, which can be switched wirelessly to give the operator full situational awareness of the area behind the door.

One of the most advanced versions is the Dual View Under-the-Door Camera, which offers both a forward-facing view into the room and an upward-facing camera that allows the operator to inspect the rear side of the door. This capability helps detect potential threats such as traps, barricades, or suspects positioned close to the entry point.

The camera uses infrared (IR) illumination and frame integration technology, enabling clear imaging even in complete darkness at distances of up to 20 feet (approximately 6 meters). The device requires only ¼ inch (6.4 mm) of clearance between the door and the floor, allowing it to be used with most standard doors.

For safe operation, the camera is maneuvered using a specialized 8-foot (approximately 2.4 m) pole, enabling the operator to maintain a safe distance from the entry point while conducting surveillance. The system can also provide audio monitoring, giving tactical teams additional situational information before entering the room.

The device includes connection cables, an air hand pump door jack for creating additional door clearance when needed, and is compatible with WalkAbout portable display systems, allowing real-time monitoring of the captured video.
