Weapon Mounted Monocular

Nivisys currently offers the TAM‑14 Thermal Monocular, designed to meet the needs of individual users conducting ground‑based night operations. The system has set the standard for future handheld thermal devices that can be used as handheld units, head‑ or helmet‑mounted systems, as well as weapon‑mounted optics, all powered by standard 3‑volt lithium batteries.

The controls are conveniently positioned for both right‑handed and left‑handed operation. The TAM‑14 is a multi‑purpose system that utilizes the latest miniature thermal sensor technology combined with a modern organic light‑emitting diode (OLED) display, delivering a superior and stable image in an extremely compact form factor.

The system was engineered to maximize versatility, allowing rapid adaptation for weapon mounting, headgear, helmets, video output, and additional accessories. By incorporating in‑service head and helmet mounts designed for PVS‑7 and PVS‑14 systems, the TAM‑14 remains compact, lightweight, and intuitive to operate.
