BALLISTIC BALCONY COVERS

Ballistic Balcony Covers

Ballistic balcony covers in the RUBOX system are protective elements designed to enhance the safety of occupants in residential or administrative buildings. They provide effective protection against firearm attacks while maintaining the aesthetic and functional integrity of balconies and terraces.

The covers provide ballistic protection against 5.56 mm, 7.62 mm, 9 mm rounds, smoothbore projectiles, as well as high-power rounds such as .338 Lapua Magnum (285 grain), .50 BMG (750 gr A-MAX® Match™), and 12.7 × 99 mm M33 BALL, even when fired from a distance of 1 meter.

Structurally, the covers can be standalone elements or integrated with existing balcony or terrace constructions. The surface of the RUBOX system can be customized with images or color transfers to reduce detectability and mimic a standard balcony or terrace construction. Additional masking elements or plaster can be applied over the panels as needed.

The covers are weather-resistant and provide safety against direct hits and ricochets. The system is suitable for luxury residences, office buildings, embassies, shopping centers, and other high-security facilities.
