Safety Rooms / Panic Room

The modular RUBOX system is designed for buildings with elevated security standards, providing a protective shelter for individuals, clients, or occupants in the event of robbery, terrorist attack, or natural disaster. Similar to traditional safe rooms or panic rooms, the system ensures maximum protection and safety for personnel during critical situations. It is suitable for luxury residences, shopping malls, exchange offices, office buildings, schools, public offices, embassies, and other facilities where there is a real threat and a need for protection.

The modular RUBOX system allows virtually any room to be adapted for protective purposes with minimal resources and minor modifications. It can be installed in basements, on ground floors, or any other floor of a building. The system contains no steel components or armored plates, making it completely mobile and allowing flexible configuration of the room according to specific requirements. It protects walls, floors, and ceilings based on the client’s specifications.

The system can be mounted under masking boards, OSB panels, drywall, or covered with a finishing plaster. The surface can be visually customized to blend with the surroundings, allowing the room to maintain normal appearance without revealing its protective function. This ensures the space can be used for other purposes without compromising safety.

The RUBOX walls prevent intruders from entering the protected area and protect occupants from damage even when attacked with high-caliber firearms. It provides ballistic protection against 5.56 mm, 7.62 mm, 9 mm, smoothbore firearms, .338 Lapua Magnum (285 grain), .50 BMG (750 gr A-MAX® Match™), and 12.7 × 99 mm M33 BALL. The system is also resistant to hand grenades: RG 42, F1, RGZ-89, and RGO-88. All structural materials are certified by the Polish National Institute of Public Health – National Institute of Hygiene.

The modular design enables fast installation and adaptation to virtually any room with minimal construction, while ensuring full protection of people and assets. The system provides a safe refuge for the duration necessary to contact emergency or security services and neutralize the threat.
